HUGO PATYN

Hugo Patyn is a dancer, Choreographer, and Director. Among his creations he has produced and directed several shows, such as: "Tango and Fire", which has been presented in Argentina and the United States; "Los Angeles Tango Festival" which was held 2005, 2006 and 2007, in the city of Costa Mesa, Los Angeles;“El Corazón del Tango”, performed in the city of Los Angeles, and "Tango Buenos Aires" on tour in the United States; “Emporio Tango” was presented in Mexico and various places in Argentina; “Cabaret Tango” was perfromed in Buenos Aires and the central region of the country; “Maestros del Tango”, “Somos Tango”, “Gricel, Historias de un amor”, “Shades of Tango”, and “Tango Joven” were performed in Argentina and the United States between 2015 and 2017.

He has been part of the following shows: “Súper Tango”, held in Buenos Aires; “Forever Tango”, presented in numerous cities around the world;  “Laughs & Tango”, carried out in the United States and Canada; “Follies Bergere” presented in Las Vegas; “Alma de Tango”, Japan and Taiwan; “Tango Spirit III”, made in Japan; “Passion of Tango”, presented in the United States; “Tango Fiesta”, held in the United States; “Tango and Fire”, made in Argentina and the United States; “El Corazón del Tango” presented in the United States;  “Tango Dreams”,   carried out in the United States and Indonesia;“Fusion Tango”, presented in the United States; “I Tango” performed in the United States; “Tango Buenos Aires”, carried out in the United States; “Bien Argentino”, presented in Buenos Aires; “Evolution Tango”, presented in Guatemala and the United States, and “Milonguera”, presented as part of Mora Godoy Company in the countries of Chile, Peru, Mexico, China and Spain.

Hugo has performed as a principal dancer with numerous orchestras and shows with world-renowned figures, performing several times in the following countries: Argentina, Bermuda, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Guatemala, Spain, Korea, Portugal , China, Israel, Taiwan, Greece, the United States, and Canada.

As a Master he has participated in the most prestigious festivals such as “Nora’s Tango Week”, during 2004 and 2007, "Torino Tango Festival", Italy, "Boston Tango Festival" and "New Jersey Tango Fest" during 2006 & 2007, “Encuentro con los Grandes” Madrid, Spain, “Festival de Tango de Buenos Aires”, “Portland Tango Fest”, "Seoul Tango Festival" Seoul, Korea, among others.

CELINA ROTUNDO

Celina Rotundo began her dance studies at a very early age, as a hobby. It was not long before she realized that next to artisitc roller skating, Argentine Tango would be her life. She trained in Classical, Contemporary, Jazz, and Argentine Folklore. Finally,  Tango was the style that captured her passion for dance.

Since the beginning of 2010, they have toured together in the some of the biggest places in the world.  This includes Guatemala, Spain, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Boston, Champaign, Miami, San Francisco, San Antonio, Hawaii, Los Angeles and China, where they have been featured in various shows and workshops. During 2011 they participated as teachers in the "CITA" festival organized by Fabián Salas, which takes place every year in Buenos Aires and brings together thousands of tango lovers from all over the world, as well as other great teachers. In 2013, 2014, and 2016, they participated in “Festival Provincial de Tango”, that takes place in the city of Zarate, and brings together the most renowned artists of Argentine Tango. In 2015 they performed in “Festival de Baradero” with their Company. Additionally, “10ma. Cumbre Mundial de Tango”, “Tango Joven”, “Gardel 79 años después”, “Entre Borges & Piazzolla”, “Festival Internacional de Malaga” in 2016,  “Shades of Tango”, as producers and dancers, and “Gricel Historia de una amor” in 2017.

Presently, Celina and Hugo, inaugurated in Buenos Aires, an academy of dance and artistic roller skating. Today, it has more than 300 students who learn and train in both disciplines. Students of both sexes include children, youth, and adults, as well as people with special needs. 

They have traveled the world with their art. They speak several languages, but their best language is of the body, the soul, and of theirgreatest passion, the Tango.
